She holds a degree in tourism from the Escuela Superior de Turismo del Instituto Politécnico Nacional. She has completed a diploma and a master's degree in hotel management from ITESM and Cornell University. She has been director of Hoteles Dreams and Secrets Huatulco Resorts & Spa, president of the Bahías de Huatulco Hotel Association, member of the Huatulco Green Team and the Earthcheck certification committee, as well as the Huatulco National Park council, all positions from which she has promoted the certification of the destination in various tourism sustainability standards.

A biologist from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, he has a master's degree in Environmental Energy Policy and Management from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), postgraduate studies in Renewable Energies from the University of Applied Sciences in Wismar, Germany, and in Senior Management and Public Management for Local Development from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE). He has participated as an observer and part of the Mexican Delegation at the Conference of the Parties number 15, 16, 26 and 27 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and is currently studying the Executive Program in Sustainable Finance and Risk Analysis at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). In the professional field, he has served as General Coordinator of the Environmental Protection Office of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Research Assistant in the Bioenergy Department of the Fraunhofer Institute in Kassel, Germany. In public service, he has served as Coordinator of Climate Change Policies and Director of Environmental Policy of the Secretariat of the Environment of the Government of the State of Aguascalientes, Technical Secretary and Director of Planning and Environmental Policy of the Ecology Institute of the State of Guanajuato; in the Secretariat of the Environment and Territorial Planning of the State of Guanajuato he served as General Director of Climate Change and Energy Sustainability, as well as Undersecretary of Environmental Management, Climate Change and Energy Sustainability. He is currently in charge of the Office of the Secretariat of the Environment and Territorial Planning of the Government of the State of Guanajuato.

She holds a degree in biology with a specialization in marine sciences from the University of Tampa. She completed a master's degree in auditing and environmental impact studies from the University of Barcelona and is an ISO 14,001:2004 environmental auditor for Bureau Veritas. With her professional career spanning more than 20 years, she is an expert in the areas of environmental impact and community development, with the mission of consolidating the commitment of public and private organizations and institutions to sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

He is the coordinator of the culture sector at the UNESCO office in Mexico, where he develops culture and science initiatives on topics such as cultural diversity and cultural rights, innovation and the 2030 Agenda. He has worked in various institutions and publishing houses such as the Fondo de Cultura Económica, the General Directorate for the Dissemination of Science at UNAM, and the National Coordination for Children's Cultural Development at Conaculta.

He is the co-founder and creative director of AtlasObscura.com, a collaborative guide to the world’s hidden wonders with 8 million monthly visitors. He is the co-author of 3 New York Times bestsellers: Atlas Obscura, Gastro Obscura, and The World’s Most Adventurous Kid’s Explorer’s Guide, and the host of one of the world’s leading travel podcasts.

He has a degree in journalism and a PhD in education and social communication from the University of Malaga. For more than 18 years, he has developed artificial intelligence and Big Data projects applied to tourism with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the consulting firm Grant Thornton. Currently, he is responsible for communications for both the Forum for Peace in the Mediterranean and the International Training Center for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL Malaga), where he is in charge of training in sustainable tourism.

Hector Muñoz Krieger is the General Director of Economy and Tourism of the municipality of Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. With a solid experience in the public and private sectors, he has collaborated in the current administration of President Lorena Alfaro García so that through the implementation of innovative policies, the tourist infrastructure is strengthened and investment is encouraged, contributing significantly to the economic growth and diversification of the region and the city. He has a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade from La Salle University and a Master's Degree in Administrative Management from the National Institute of Technology of Mexico Campus Celaya. He is a teacher at the University of Guanajuato and the National Institute of Technology of Mexico Campus Celaya. He is also a certified American football coach by USA Football.

He studied business administration and has a master's degree in Social Marketing & New Enterprise Finance from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India. He has been a consultant in restaurant and hotel technology projects. In 2017 he founded Casa Pepe Hostel Boutique which, in association with Grupo Presidente, has developed 3 hostels in Mexico. He has been president of Hospitality Sales of Marketing International (Mexico chapter), from where he created HTM Summit, a congress on technology and tourism trends, and is the founder of the School of Advanced Philosophical, Economic and Scientific Studies in León, Guanajuato. In 2021, Forbes Mexico included him in its list of the 30 Promising Businessmen of Mexico. He is currently president of the Hotel Association of Mexico City.

She is the founder and CEO of Alchemia in the Business of Transformation. In her professional career, she has worked in management positions with CitiBanamex, Condé Nast, Publicitas Promotion Network, Hill & Knowlton, highlighting her work as head of the Mexican Tourism Promotion Council. For more than 20 years, she has been a co-founding patron of Casa Hogar Alegría, an orphanage for girls, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Women Forum for the Economy and Society. Recently, she has been part of the Hive Global world leaders program.

She is an environmental economist specializing in the development of information for responsible investors. She worked for 10 years in the financial sector and the last 20 in green finance, being the promoter and rater of the Sustainability Index of the Mexican Stock Exchange. She currently works for ExoValores as head of socially responsible investment.

She graduated from ITAM and has a diploma in international administration and a master's degree in public image. She has worked for the Mexican Stock Exchange and Visa International. She is the founder and director of Vístete para Triunfar AC, a subsidiary of Dress for Success, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women in achieving economic independence, breaking cycles of violence, strengthening self-esteem and providing them with tools for personal and professional development. In its 14 years, the organization has empowered more than 14,000 women, helping them enter the labor market and develop small businesses. She was an editorial advisor for the Reforma newspaper in the Top Magazine section and is currently a member of the board of Dress for Success Worldwide and an advisor in Mexico to G-100 in the philanthropy, business and poverty eradication wing.

She is the Biodiversity Programme Manager at Regions4 and coordinates the Subnational Governments Advisory Committee for the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which promotes links between subnational governments, civil society and private initiatives.

He holds a degree in tourism administration from the Universidad Anáhuac, with a certification from the Advanced Tourism Marketing program at Cornell University, as well as a master's degree in communications from the Universidad Panamericana and having completed the doctoral program in Tourism at the Universidad Anáhuac. He worked at the National Tourism Council, at Sheraton Corporation and at Grupo Posadas until founding his media company for the tourism industry COMUNICATUR, which published the magazines Alta Hotelería and A la Carta as well as the Mexico Travel Agent Planner. He recently developed Hospitalitas 5.0, an update portal with value-added services for hospitality professionals. He has been a professor at several universities, chaired the Mexican Association of Tourism Press, received the Anáhuac Leadership Medal in Tourism and was distinguished by the Miguel Alemán Foundation with the XXX Miguel Alemán Valdés Chair in Tourism.

With a professional career spanning more than thirty years, she holds a degree in international relations from UNAM, a master's degree in science from the London School of Economics, and a diploma in financial analysis of infrastructure projects (ITAM) and senior business management (IPADE). She has worked for Vantage Strategy, Questex Hospitality Group, the Mexican Tourism Promotion Council, and the Mexican Ministry of Tourism. Since 2019, she has been a director and expert in the tourism industry and regional development for Deloitte in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is also vice president of the National Tourism Business Council of Mexico, an active member of AFEET and the International Women's Forum, and promotes projects to solve socio-environmental challenges in her community.

He has a degree in tourism from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico and a professional career of more than 35 years in the tourism sector both in Mexico and in other countries. During his career he has worked in public organizations, private companies and educational institutions, always on issues related to the tourism sector, with special emphasis on cultural and social issues. He is the founder of CCC Consultores, a consulting and training company that he has directed since 2005. He is currently president for the Americas of the International Organization of Social Tourism, advisor to both the Conservatory of Gastronomic Culture of Mexico and the Association of Regional Foods and Cuisines of the Americas and vice president of social tourism of Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit AC, of which he is a founding member.

A communications expert with more than 30 years of experience in cultural management, she has designed, restructured, promoted and renovated various cultural institutions. She has been coordinator of dissemination, deputy director of programming and planning director of the International Cervantino Festival, executive director of the National Opera Company of Bellas Artes and coordinator of the National System of Art Creators. She is currently general director of the State Institute of Culture of the State of Guanajuato, where she has revived high-impact cultural activity based on cultural infrastructure.

He is an economist with a master's degree in strategic management in administrative sciences. He was part of the Sustainability and Environmental Policies Program at the University of California and, since 2014, he is the general manager of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute.

She holds a degree in international relations from ITAM. She has collaborated with Hotel B Cozumel in the development of environmental protection and social impact plans. She is currently the general director of Hoteles México and president of the Cozumel Hotel Association.

He is an entrepreneur and investor in social and environmental regenerative impact. He is the owner of Playa Viva and founder of Regenerative Travel. For the past 20 years, his efforts have focused on real estate and hospitality, following his values for regenerative, environmental and social impact. Through Playa Viva and Regenerative Travel Inc., he has strived to leverage hospitality and real estate investments to bring capital (social, market, intellectual, natural and financial) to work on improving the ecosystem, both people and planet, to create vibrant, resilient, healthy and profitable systems for all participants.

A specialist in tourism analysis and management with an emphasis on sustainability, she holds a PhD in tourism from the Universidad Anáhuac México, a master's degree in tourism administration and innovation from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and a degree in languages from the Instituto Superior de Intérpretes y Traductores. In her 20 years of experience, she has developed and managed various sustainability, competitiveness, and culture projects. She has participated in the training of tourism professionals at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and in tourism training, as well as in the organization of national and international events such as congresses, conferences, workshops, seminars, and discussion forums. She is currently the director of research and content for Hotel Sostenible and founder of Xíimbal Consultoría, which promotes the sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage, as well as the participation and entrepreneurship of the local population to generate competitive, innovative, and inclusive tourist destinations.

She is an architect with a master's degree in restoration of sites and monuments from the University of Guanajuato, with more than 30 years of experience in the conservation and management of cultural heritage. She has worked in Guanajuato, Querétaro and Oaxaca, holding various positions at the National Institute of Anthropology and History. She has been a consultant for the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro project in its section of San Miguel de Allende. She is currently the director of Cultural Heritage at the State Institute of Culture of Guanajuato.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Latina de Panamá, a master's degree in education from the Universidad del Istmo de Panamá, and a specialization in law from the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. He has been Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment of Panama and is currently Executive Secretary of the Central American Commission for Environment and Development (CCAD), an environmental agency of the Central American Integration System (SICA), from where he promotes the implementation of the Regional Environmental Framework Strategy (ERAM) 2021-2025, the execution of different regional projects and intersectoral regional agendas.

He is a biochemical engineer in marine sciences and a master in applied public management from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has held important leadership positions in companies and business organizations in the state of Guanajuato, such as the Business Coordinating Council of San Miguel de Allende. In 2015, he began his political career as a legislator for the State of Guanajuato. Later, he was Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training, of the Secretariat for Sustainable Economic Development. Since 2020, he has been Secretary of Tourism for the state of Guanajuato. He has promoted the issue of sustainability through the implementation of good practices and the development of the Guanajuato Sustainable Tourism Distinction. He is the promoter of the collaboration agreement between the Association of Tourism Secretaries of Mexico A.C. (ASETUR) and the National Association of State Environmental Authorities (ANAEE).

With a master's degree in political sociology from the University of Aix-en-Provence and a doctorate in contemporary history from the University of Valencia, he is one of the most prominent academics, political analysts and communicators in Mexico. He has been a researcher and teacher at UNAM and the Universidad Iberoamericana and began his presence in the media in 1995 as a commentator on the news program Hechos on TV Azteca. Since 2002 he has been a panelist on the program Primer Plano on ONCE TV and has been a contributor and analyst on various radio and television media. He currently hosts programs for ADN 40 and Grupo Fórmula. He has received various awards and decorations from public and private institutions in Mexico, Italy and France. The magazine Líderes Mexicanos placed him among the 300 most influential leaders in Mexico.

She is an expert in the hospitality industry, recognized with the Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All award, granted by the Women Economic Forum, in 2023. She is currently the Director of Sustainability and Institutional Relations at Grupo Presidente, where she is responsible for implementing the ESG (environmental, social and governance) strategy. She has worked for the National Association of Hotel Chains (ANCH) and the Mexican Tourism Promotion Council (CPTM) and is the executive president of the National Council of Tourism Companies (CNET).

He holds a degree in economics from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, a master's degree in urban planning from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a master's degree in tourism destination management from Universidad Anáhuac. He worked for 21 years at FONATUR, where he coordinated more than 40 studies in tourism planning and is a member of the CONACYT Registry of Accredited Evaluators of the National System of Scientific and Technological Evaluation. Currently, he participates in various urban development projects, business plans for tourism projects, and studies on tourist carrying capacity.

She holds a master's degree in economics from the Sorbonne University and a doctorate in tourism economics from the University of Havana. With more than 30 years of experience in the academic field, she has been a professor and researcher at ITESM and a visiting professor at several universities abroad; she has several publications and recognitions in this field. She was director of tourism in Chihuahua and the Barrancas del Cobre adventure park. She is currently secretary of tourism in Mexico City.

He holds a degree in marine biology from the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur and a master's degree and a doctorate in the subject. He is a professor and researcher at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where he coordinates a research group on mangroves and fisheries, as well as the Mexican Seas initiative. His work in Cabo Pulmo is a global example of ecological recovery. He has been awarded the Jean Fort Prize by the University of California in San Diego and the Nature Conservation Award by SEMARNAT/CONANP. He is also an associate member of the Hellman Foundation's program for professors with promising careers in the field of natural sciences. Since 1994 he has photographed the marine and coastal ecosystems of Mexico, an activity that has led him to become part of the International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP) and a National Geographic explorer.

He holds a degree in tourism business administration and a master's degree in tourism from the Antonio de Nebrija University. He worked in the offices of the Mexican Tourism Promotion Council (CPTM) in Spain and Mexico. He has been an advisor on government relations and international cooperation in the technical secretariat of the National Conference of Governors (CONAGO), director of tourism for CONCANACO SERVYTUR MÉXICO and is currently coordinator of promotion and strategic alliances for the new destination of the Marías Islands, administered by the Secretariat of the Navy.

Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, since 2006 she has been the director for the Americas of the International Social Tourism Organization -ISTO Americas- based in Montreal, Canada. She has coordinated advisory and public policy projects for governments and organizations in various Latin American countries on issues of social, solidarity and sustainable tourism. Since 2019 she has been an expert member of the Ibero-American Institute for Inclusive Tourism, and in 2021, she was recognized by the World Organization of Tourism Journalism as one of the 11 most influential tourism leaders in Latin America in 2021.

Vicente is one of the most recognized sustainable tourism specialists in Mexico and Latin America. He has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to advising destinations, companies and rural communities to align their way of doing tourism towards conservation, restoration, regeneration and social well-being. He has a degree in tourism from the National Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in management, policy and environmental law from the Universidad Anáhuac. He is the founder of Sustentur, a company that works with institutions such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Central American Commission for Environment and Development. He is a founding member of Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit AC and Advisor to Sureste Sostenible. In 2020 he was recognized as one of the 40 leaders in sustainable tourism in the world (the only Mexican) by the Global Shakers platform and in 2022 he received the Award in the Sustainable Tourism Philosophy category at the Food and Travel Hospitality Awards.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle de México. With more than 15 years of experience in the sector, she has worked in both the private and public sectors, being distinguished in the latter with various awards such as the National Prize for Diversification of the Tourism Product, the Quórum and the Inclusive Route award. She is currently Secretary of Tourism for the State of Querétaro.

Known as Pata de Perro, he has produced travel content in more than 100 countries and is the author of the book Viajar para Vivir, as well as the guides AMOMÉXICO, AMOEDOMÉX and AMOCDMX. He is a producer and host of the AMOMÉXICO program on Grupo Fórmula, a consultant for the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ), a curator of experiences for BBVA, a publicist and a lecturer. He has published more than a thousand articles and columns, and has been a producer, host and scriptwriter in various documentary formats and programs for Nat Geo, Discovery Networks and Televisa, among others.

An architect and lawyer from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, he has studies in territorial planning, heritage conservation and international politics. With extensive experience in the field of international cooperation and public management, he is currently the Vice Minister of Tourism for International Cooperation of the Dominican Republic and Executive Director of the Pedernales tourism development project, a destination that is emerging as a benchmark in sustainable tourism and community integration.

He is Director of Sustainable Tourism at UN Tourism, an organization he joined in 1997, where he has held various positions, including Head of the Risk and Crisis Management Department and Supervisor of the Advisory Unit on Tourism and Biodiversity. Under his supervision, UN Tourism's Sustainable Tourism area addresses the challenges and opportunities of tourism development, such as climate change, sustainable production and consumption, health emergencies, biodiversity, and social sustainability.

A graduate in business administration and a graduate in tourism from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, she also has a specialty in administrative information and a diploma in public relations, social networks and crisis management. She has been director of tourism promotion at the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism in Cuernavaca and is currently the head of the Fideicomiso Turismo Morelos, an organization dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of tourism.

He holds a Master's degree in Political Studies from the Pontifical Javeriana University in Bogotá. He has been technical secretary of the Tourism Regulatory Commission, president of the National Commission for Tourism Guidance, minister of tourism and vice-minister of the Presidency of Costa Rica. He has been part of various governmental and private organizations in Costa Rica such as the Council of Civil Aviation Technicians, the Council of Young People and the Executive Committee of the Central American Tourism Council. He is currently director of tourism management for the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, which is in charge of the area of Certifications and Social Responsibility in Tourism.

He is the executive director of Sistema B in Mexico, an allied organization of the B Movement in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has collaborated with the Office for the Coordination of the United Nations System in Mexico and has worked as a sustainability manager at Natura Mexico, as a social mobilization coordinator at Oxfam Intermón Madrid and is co-founder of the creativity website “Neuronilla.com”. He is an ally in Mexico of ECODES, a Spanish foundation for Sustainable Development and Responsible Leader of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.

A mechanical engineer from ITESM, he holds an MBA from EGADE Business School and a specialization in sustainable business from Copenhagen Business School. He has held different positions at Flecha Amarilla, where he is currently director of new businesses and has led real estate development projects, hotels and the YellowHub.

She is a biologist from UNAM and holds a PhD in ecology and environmental management for development from the Center for Atmospheric and Ecological Research. She has worked as director of environmental management and education for sustainable development at the Secretariat of Environment and Natural History of the Government of Chiapas. She has been an independent consultant and has founded and belonged to various civil society organizations. She is currently director of the ADAPTUR Project “Ecosystem-based Adaptation of the Private Sector with a Focus on Tourism in Mexico” and of the Mexican-German Climate Change Alliance Phase IV, of the German Agency for Sustainable Development Cooperation (GIZ).

Honduran national. She graduated in Industrial and Civil Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH). She holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Planning from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. She worked for almost ten years as a professor at UNAH in the area of Scientific Research Management. In recent years, she worked as an independent consultant in the field of tourism, being appointed by consensus since October 2022 by the Central American Tourism Council (CCT) as Executive Secretary of the Central American Tourism Integration Secretariat (SITCA) belonging to the Central American Integration System (SICA).

She has a degree in law and international relations and has worked for more than 18 years in corporate sustainability. From there, she has specialized in the financial sector, where she has worked on sustainable investment issues at Citibanamex, Grupo Banorte and HSBC. She is currently Chief Sustainability Officer of Banco Santander Mexico. She has chaired the ESG Committee of the Mexican Stock Exchange and chairs the ESG Commission of the Mexican Banking Association. She has been part of the founding group of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking and co-chair of the working group that created the global nature risk reporting framework (TNFD).

With training in animation and digital art at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, she is the technology director and coordinator of impact projects at Rutopía and has played key roles in various technology startups.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and a master's degree in Latin American literature from the University of Barcelona. He has held positions in the tourism sector such as president of the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ANATO), vice minister of tourism, president of the World Federation of Travel Agency Associations and member of the executive committee of UN Tourism. He has been Colombia's ambassador to the People's Republic of China and is currently director of sustainable tourism at the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).

He holds a degree in Communication Arts and a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Tourism from Assumption University in Thailand. He is co-founder and tour operator at Book My Tour and Travel, as well as co-founder and managing partner of Green e-solutions, where he develops online business models. He is currently president of The Loden Foundation in Bhutan, an organization dedicated to promoting conscious leadership, teamwork and strategic direction.

He holds an honorary doctorate from the Ibero-American Doctoral Council and a master's degree in tourism from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. An expert in sustainable tourism development, marketing, quality and tourism planning, with more than 22 years of international experience, he is the founder of INTEGRA Tourism For Good S.A., based in Mexico City, with offices in Barcelona, Spain, from where he has implemented sustainable tourism development projects in more than 20 countries. He is a founding partner of Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit® and has chaired the organizing committee since 2022.
